Project: Direct Entry MSN Web & Blog Content
As a Senior Digital Content Strategist with Grand Canyon Education, I’ve had the opportunity to write, edit and shape content for more than 20 leading universities across the U.S. including Marquette University.
Marquette’s Direct Entry MSN program offers an accelerated pathway to a graduate-level nursing degree with two program locations (one at their main Milwaukee campus) and five-semester or extended eight-semester formats.
I have personally written or edited all content on their 19-page DE-MSN program microsite in tandem with marketing managers and our SEO team. I have regularly updated information to drive organic leads and conversions.
I’ve written and edited over 40 blogs on their microsite since 2021 with the same goal, touching on a wide range of education and career-focused topics.
I have developed a working relationship with two Program Directors, reviewing and editing blogs live on monthly calls to ensure industry accuracy and partner satisfaction.
Over the past 12 months, my four top-performing blogs for Marquette University’s Direct Entry MSN program have surpassed 39,000 total users and 330 conversions.

Project: Accelerated BSN Web & Blog Content
Mercer University’s Second Degree Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) track offers a fast pathway into nursing for qualified students. They administer a 12-month curriculum blending online courses, hands-on labs, and clinical rotations at top healthcare facilities throughout Metro Atlanta.
I have personally written or edited all content on their 18-page ABSN track microsite. I work with in-house marketing managers and our SEO team to update information and address client requests. All site content is audited at least yearly to drive leads and conversions in line with evolving best practices.
I’ve written and edited over 50 blogs (with multiple blogs on performant topics being rewritten and re-released over time) published on their microsite since 2021.
All blogs have been written to drive conversions and educate prospective students on topics like how to succeed as an ABSN student, or what different nursing career paths look like. I collaborate with our partners to implement edits and ensure that all content is SEO and brand-optimized.
Over the past 12 months, my four top-performing blogs for Mercer University’s ABSN track have surpassed 16,000 total users and garnered 85 conversions.
Partner: Milhaus
Project: Property Naming, Research & Branding, Collateral
Milhaus is a mixed-use development, construction, and property management company headquartered in Indianapolis. They have developed nearly 50 properties (primarily Class A, urban, multifamily residential buildings) to date across 13 states.
In my roles as Associate Account Strategist and Account Strategist for Matchbook, an Indianapolis-based full-service advertising and marketing agency, I collaborated with partners and agency management to name and generate collateral for multiple new developments.
Our process began with evaluating each location. I collaborated and led efforts to research local history while developing demographics and psychographics for target audiences.
The partner’s brand voice called for authentic, historically grounded names that still sounded modern and unique. Each property was named after a rationale presentation garnered partner approval.

Partner: Endangered Species Chocolate
Project: Packaging Text, Branding & Sweepstakes Campaign
Endangered Species Chocolate is a premium chocolate brand, built on sustainable practices and empowering conservation efforts across the globe through charitable donations.
As the first chocolate brand in the world to source all of its cocoa from fully certified Fairtrade farms in West Africa, their mission of supporting species, habitat and humanity across the globe has led them to donate over $3.3 million to global partners since 2016.
As a copywriter and strategist for Matchbook, I worked on multiple projects for Endangered Species Chocolate. I wrote and edited copy for interior and exterior packaging, elaborating on their mission of conservation and providing enticing flavor text to stand out at retail.
In the summer of 2018, I worked on the launch of a new product, a dark chocolate and salted peanut bar featuring the African Elephant on the label. In the build-up to the launch, ESC had created a sweepstakes sending two grand prize winners on a trip to luxury accommodations in Kenya featuring an elephant tour.
I wrote for a multimedia sweepstakes and launch campaign featuring social advertising, e-blasts, blog posts and influencer messaging. Over this three-month campaign we helped acquire well over 30,000 email entries, while influencer posts reached a combined 12,396 likes with stories reaching 155,994 impressions.
